Dear Mission Partners,
While preparing for last night’s meeting, the two evangelists preaching in Likasi and Kipushi both received a push from the Holy Spirit. Despite being ninety miles apart and having no idea what the other evangelist was thinking, they both heard the exact same thing from the Lord! “Tonight, I want you to preach on the blood of Jesus.”
In Kipushi, where Evangelist Lukas Repert (CfaN’s School of Evangelism Director) preached, the local churches and the CfaN team conducted a motorcade through the dusty streets, inviting people to the campaign. Lukas shared what touched him most. “The people were hungry for a touch from God! Instead of asking for photos or money, almost everyone cried out: “Baraka, baraka” – which means “prayer for blessing.” They understood that we didn’t come in our own name or authority, but with a divine assignment from God for this city. Many people followed us straight to the campaign field, and when we arrived at the end of the parade, thousands were already waiting.”
When he gave the altar call, thousands of hands went up, grabbing hold of the freedom Jesus brings. That new sense of liberation carried over into the prayer for the sick. There were numerous outstanding miracles, undeniable proof that Jesus saves, heals and sets the captives free!
